Volcano

Volcano an opening in the Earth's crust through which molten rock or magma escape often with explosive violence. The emerging stream is called Lava. Repeated volcanic eruptions at a site give rise to a typical conical structure as layers of ash and solidified lava buildup. Most volcanoes are located at the boundaries of the plates that make up the Earth's crust
